Dear Residents, Families and Friends,
Happy New Year!
We would like to take a moment to say “Thank you” for being a part of the Carmel Village family. Let’s take this time to appreciate the many things in our lives we are thankful for such as family, friends and for Carmel Village the wonderful residents, family members, friends and staff. Thank you for trusting us with your loved ones.
Holiday festivities began November 24th with our traditional Thanksgiving Feast complete with Turkey and all the trimmings.
Then it wouldn't be the Holidays at Carmel Village without our annual Tree Trimming Party and Holiday Open House where our resident assisted with decorating our very own 15 ft. Christmas tree in the Fireside Lounge. During that time we hosted a Santa’s Workshop, all residents were invited to make snow globes to hang in their apartments. Hot chocolate, cider and warm holiday cookies were served. We had a visit from Santa Claus himself and a special holiday show with live entertainment. Our very own Chef’ Patrick and the Dining Team were on hand with a delicious selection of desserts and beverages for all.
Next were our Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations which began on December 23rd with a menu selection of Chicken Cordon Bleu, Beef Loin or Sea Bass, delicious side dishes and delectable desserts.
Lastly, we closed the holiday season by saying goodbye to 2016 and welcoming 2017 with our New Year's Eve Celebration on December 31st. We marked the occasion with an evening of food, fun and live entertainment.
